Analytics Integrations

Content Chimera can pull data from your analytics platforms to enrich your content analysis with real-world usage metrics like pageviews, sessions, and engagement data. Combining crawl data with analytics gives you a much fuller picture — you can see not just what content exists, but how people actually use it.

Supported Platforms

Google Analytics 4

Connect your GA4 property via OAuth. Once connected, you can select specific properties and date ranges to import. Content Chimera brings in pageview and engagement metrics and merges them with your crawled asset data so you can chart content performance alongside structural analysis.

Adobe Analytics

Adobe Analytics is supported for organizations that use the Adobe ecosystem. Import traffic and engagement data to layer onto your content inventory.

Matomo

Matomo (formerly Piwik) is supported for teams using self-hosted or cloud analytics. Import pageview and engagement metrics just like the other platforms.

Importing Analytics Data

Analytics data is imported as metadata — it adds columns (like pageviews or bounce rate) to your existing asset inventory rather than creating new rows. Content Chimera matches analytics data to your crawled pages by URL, handling deduplication and aggregation automatically.

For detailed step-by-step instructions on importing data from analytics platforms and other external tools, see Adding from another source.

Note

Analytics imports work best when you have already crawled the site. The import merges analytics metrics onto your existing asset list, so the more complete your crawl, the more analytics data will match up successfully.
