Chrome Extension

The Google Chrome extension for Content Chimera facilitates making annotations. You can also create annotations from the annotations listing page (see annotations information).

Using the extension

Using the extension is straightforward. Just click on the extension, then write your notes about the page, then save.

Installing the extension

This extension is not yet publicly available, so there are a handful of steps to install it.

  1. Download the zipped extension.

  1. Unzip the extension.

  2. Go to the extensions page in Chrome.

  1. Select Developer mode.

  1. Click on Load upacked and then select the extension folder you just unzipped

  1. Pin the extension so you see the button in your browser.

  1. Open the options.

  1. Enter options:

    1. Enter Base URL: https://q0q6.chimera-local.davidhobbsconsulting.com

    2. Enter Extent ID: 920

    3. Click Save Options

  1. Test, by clicking on the extension to see if the new annotation page comes up.
